John Atkinson blankets are
manufactured by AW Hainsworth in a traditional Yorkshire woolen mill in Pudsey near Leeds.

The Hainsworth story is the history of one of the oldest companies in the United Kingdom. The company traces is routes back to the late 18th Century when in 1783 Abimelech Hainsworth started his clothiers business.

Today the company claims to manufacture "England's Finest Blankets" in their Yorkshire mill. However, as A W Hainsworth holds the Royal Warrant for furnishing supplies to HM Queen Elizabeth II and also supplies numerous royal households throughout Europe and the Middle East, it's clearly no idle claim.

Today we stock Hainsworths very popular Atkincell pure wool cellular blanket, their gorgeous Duchess Merino wool blanket and the contemporary Harlequin pure new wool blanket.
